Rooted in Soil and Sovereignty
We are a collective of healers, growers, educators, and change-makers reclaiming our connection to land, food and culture through the creation of an all-natural regenerative farm cooperative. Born from the lived experiences of food apartheid, land displacement, and generational disconnection, our movement is grounded in one truth: land is liberation.
Our mission is clear: Empowering communities through a Farm-to-Table Cooperative that fosters holistic nutrition, hands-on learning, and ecological literacy—building a sustainable future for generations to come.
Like our ancestors before us, we cultivate with intention, ceremony, and resilience. Our farm is more than a plot of land—it is a living classroom, a healing center, a cultural archive, and a home for collective action. Through regenerative agroecology, community-led food production, and justice-based education, we are growing food, growing power, and growing a new narrative.
We recognize that systemic racism has separated Black and Brown communities from their agrarian legacy and the very land that once sustained them. At our peak in 1920, Black farmers made up 14% of U.S. growers—today, we are less than 2%. That loss of land, health, and agency is not accidental. It is the result of discriminatory policy, structural violence, and cultural erasure.
We are here to seed something different.
Rooted in the principles of cooperative economics, agroecology, and ancestral stewardship, our initiative invites individuals and families—especially those new to land-based living—to rediscover the sacred relationships between soil, culture, and community.
Long before industrial agriculture and global food supply chains, our ancestors practiced land-based living rooted in cooperation, sustainability, and communal care. Across Africa, the Caribbean, the Americas, and Indigenous territories, food was grown not just for survival—but for ceremony, nourishment, and the collective well-being of the people.
"We are not starting from scratch—we are returning to an ancestral blueprint that held communities together for generations, and integrating it with modern and future-facing technologies to prepare us for a thriving, equitable, and sustainable future and build systems rooted in resilience, equity, and innovation." -CEO Daniylle Robyn
Reclaiming Our Roots Today’s regenerative homestead cooperatives seek to revive and honor these ancestral practices—rooted in cooperation, ecological harmony, and cultural identity. By restoring our connection to land, seed, and story, we are reclaiming our right to feed ourselves, heal our communities, and shape a future grounded in justice.
