The story behind Treehouse

Educate Beyond the Classroom Reconnect with Our Roots

Land Steward: Daniylle Robyn

After experiencing the profound transformation of recovery, I realized that true healing extends beyond the individual—it reaches into the world we live in. I wanted to create a space where others, especially those seeking renewal, could learn to break free from dependence on mass production and reclaim control over their food and lives.

A place where people can reconnect with the land, cultivate their own nourishment, and build resilience through sustainable practices. Just as recovery teaches self-sufficiency, accountability, and growth, so does learning to grow our own food and live in harmony with nature. This vision is not just about sustainability; it’s about empowerment—helping individuals find strength, purpose, and independence through a deeper connection to the earth and the food that sustains us.

Cultivating Knowledge, Growing Together

At Treehouse, learning is at the heart of everything we do. Through the power of sustainable agriculture and community-driven education, we cultivate not just fresh, nourishing food but also the knowledge and skills needed to build resilient, fulfilling lives. Together, we grow, connect, and learn—shaping a healthier future for ourselves and our communities.

Empowering Action Through Hands-On Learning

Knowledge comes to life when we put it into practice. Through our small-scale farm-to-family operation, we provide hands-on experiences that teach gardening, herbal medicine, and regenerative farming techniques. Our interactive growing workshops and community-based training programs help individuals develop practical skills in sustainability, self-sufficiency, and ecological responsibility, ensuring that learning turns into action.

Sustaining Impact for Future Generations

Sustainability is more than a practice—it’s a commitment to continuous growth and regeneration. At Treehouse, we believe that by teaching, applying, and passing down knowledge, we create lasting change. Through mentorship, shared experiences, and community engagement, we ensure that each generation builds upon the last, strengthening our environment, local food systems, and collective well-being for the future.

We provide eco-friendly solutions for a sustainable future. Explore our services and learn how we can help you go green today.

Greenhouse Plants + Research Nexus

What We Grow

  • Ornamental Flowers – Succulents, specialty houseplants, and seasonal perennials selected for beauty and resilience.

  • Culinary & Wellness Herbs – Small-batch basil, rosemary, mint, and other heirloom varieties prized in Caribbean and Indigenous foodways.

  • Ready-to-Plant Seedlings – Robust veggie starts and native pollinator plants for home gardeners, school plots, and urban farms.

How We Propagate (Sustainably & Securely)

  • Tissue-Culture Micro-Propagation Lab – A sealed, aseptic workspace where we multiply disease-free plantlets from tiny meristem cuttings.

  • Guarantees genetic purity, rapid scale-up, and year-round uniformity.

  • Protects rare ethnobotanical lines without disclosing proprietary media recipes or growth-hormone ratios.

  • Eco-Smart Greenhouse Practices – Renewable energy offsets, rain-capture irrigation, living-soil benches, and zero-synthetic-pesticide IPM.

  • Traditional Methods, Too – Open-pollinated seed sowing and cutting propagation ensure an accessible learning pathway for volunteers and students.

Why It Matters: Research & Ethnobotany

  • Every crop is paired with an ethnobotanical study documenting its cultural lineage, traditional uses, and contemporary health relevance.

  • Growth data (yield, phytochemical profile, sensory notes) feed peer-reviewed trials that validate our product choices and support grant proposals.

  • Community collaborators—students, elders, and local healers—co-author open-access reports, reinforcing the greenhouse as both a production site and a living research classroom.
